For anyone curious I finally got the issue fixed late last night.
My Steps:
* I re earthed the amps with bigger cables to a better spot.
* Ran a new 4 Gauge earth from - Battery Terminal to Body as the factory one was pretty woeful'
* Replaced the crappy braided earth wire from the alternator to body that comes standard on the V8's with a fresh 8 Gauge wire.
* Earthed the headunit to the chassis
* Swapped the amps with spares
None of these things made any difference.
Did some more searching and found that the only thing left was the ground track inside the actual headunit could be blown......so I ran a wire from the RCA terminal on the headunit back onto the chassis of the headunit to make a small RCA earth and it fixed the problem straight away.... (would expect this problem on a pioneer but not a JVC)
Happy there is no more noise but not happy that my brand new JVC headunit has had this issue straight out of the box so I will be calling JVC to see if there is anything they can do, but either way its fixed for now
