Sold for scrap :(
Crazy

Everytime I fill my car up with petrol, VR - VS commodore drivers have been coming up to me and asking about the taillights or telling me there hot, and the dumb bimbo's in the area have been loving em too, turns lotz of heads :)

Seen 'em, know several resellers, even know the manufacturer of them (in Taiwan)... trust me, the black ones look very platic... very cheap-looking. And the "smoke/chrome" ones are even worse.

Being that these ones are the ONLY ones around, I am actually considering making my own. I have three options I am playing with, and am looking around plastic places for quotes at the mo.

Idea 1.
I intend to remove the reverse light and weld over the hole, re run the reverse ligh cable to the outside panels.... then make up a new set of chrome tail-lights in similar vain to the Monaro. Including a new wiring harness of course.

Idea 2.
Use the existing reverse light location, but mod the bejezzaz out of the whole lot, and make it look like the Honda Integra triple light altezza set... this should use the existing harness and even the existing backing, but look heaps better.

Idea 3.
Make a bolt in unit. I intend to crack open an existing "original" light and see if I can't build a screw in adaptor plate to make it look nice.... this idea will likely include fake globe inserts to match the existing wiring harness, and power a series of ultr-bright LEDs in the new locations.

I have photochopped a few ideas together, not ready to post here yet... but am open to any suggestions, ideas, interest etc. Heck, if enough people want something a bit nicer looking and a bit unique, perhaps we can get a manufacturer for them and release a JustCommodores version.

Nothing
They don't seem to look as flush together as I'd want them too.
