Done! Thanks for the tip and didnt have to remove it from the bracket either. Just used a small mirror and a torch to see it, turned it just like in your pic and it makes the bass that little bit more noticable at normal listening vol. Took 5 min to do. :)

yes the ve ssv utes have 2/8" subs behind the seats if you have preium sound as an extra. but amp is not located with battery. did anyone ever work out where it is? im trying to find it on mine

Just did this to my calais v and improved sound by 50%.
I turned it up to about 3/4.

my10 SSV SE L76
as well as turning up the amp gain try reversing the phase of the subs,it made my system sound soo much better , .
the subs are actually wired wrong from the factory and are out of phase with the mid/hi.speakeres


theres a long thread on the G8board about it with measurements to prove it.
