AN Aggressive Wheel Treatment on a VE

Very, very nice. Those Bavaria BC 10 wheels really suit the car. (Pity they are seemigly so hard to get hold of unless you buy in Melbourne).

The 255 tyres on a 10 inch rim up front looks really marginal and a little too much of a stretch to me. ( IMHO 9.5 inch wheel is really as far as you would really want to go with 255 tyres). Think I would have gone to 265 35 20 tyre instead if using 10 inch wheels on the front as the overall tyre diameter is still only 14 mm larger than the standard 245 35 20 tyres commonly fitted on 20 x 8 or 20 x 8.5 wheels. You could also get away with a 265 30 20 tyre on the front (lower diameter) on 10 inch wheels which is possibly better when the car is lowered.
Great look though as is.

Thanks mate...was intially thinking of the Adv 5.1's(same as what walkinshaw use) but im very glad i stuck with these, there's only 1 official distributor in Aust which is my mate hence why they're hard to get ahold of. With the 255's on the front initially we were werent 100% sure if the 265's would fit and because from what i know there are only maybe 2 or 3 other ve's that run 10" wide wheels on the front(all with 255's & alot of mods) it would be 50/50, having the wheels/tyres now on the car we've done proper measurements and can actually now run the 265's on the front so when im due for new tyres ill run 265 on the front & 295 on the back.

You can get the wheels redrilled to suit . Mine were modified from 5x114 to 5x120
