i doubt it, since the price will be pushed back up to 51gs, im pretty sure they would put in the extra 10kws. plus hsv drivers ls2 engine has far more potential as it is producing 297 box stock. they may boost their numbers to match this l76 if u get what i mean

Hmm....now what was the price of petrol again......?

The way car manufacturers are wanking on with bigger and bigger capacity V8's, you'd think oil was just gushing out of the ground everywhere...

Get back to me when they build a really interesting and original engine to stuff in a Commodore chassis...something like a V6 turbo diesel putting out mountains of torque, or a hybrid with one 400nm torque electric motor driving each wheel doing double duty as super-efficient regenerative brakes....now that would be worthy of headlines, not just another lumbering great dinosaur of an engine... :D :D :D
"Displacement On Demand"? Who would trust a second hand car in ten years time with that system in the engine...wouldn't you just love to be passing a semi and giving it a big bootful when it "decides" that you don't "demand" the extra power... :w00t: . "Up to" 7% fuel economy savings? Yerah, right...I am always dubious about these sort of claims...there is still all that reciprocating mass thrashing around inside the engine doing nothing when the engine is running on four cylinders...that needs power and fuel to run...there ain't no such thing as a free lunch... :(

Cynical little twat ain't I..... :w00t:
