vp 3.8 with gas new project vn s1 guted strip only
im pulling my diff center out of my old vp race car and dumping it in the vn s1 im putting on the strip (its all ready mini spooled) which shims are best used the ones out of the vp that are from the original center or the ones in the vns1 that the center is going into

mate just swap the spool out of the middle.
otherwise you will have to workout which if any of the shims you have will work.
you have to change the crown wheel anyway.

definitly swap the minispool into the VN center. changing the center from the VP into the VN will throw things out. the centers were mass produced. in an ideal world everything would bolt up perfect, however things aren't. thats why the shims are used to set the final adjustment

gearsets are also machined as sets (crown wheel and pinion) and these should always be kept together also
