Anyone use Ferodo brake pads?

Hi Guys,
My mate has a ute and he put them on with race fluid (dot 5.1) and he said it made an amazing difference. So I decided to do the same but they screetch like there is no tomorrow. I haven't noticed any significant improvement either. I'm going to take the car back because they told me that the pads shouldn't screetch and my mates brakes don't either. I got them to bed the pads in too because I thought i was doing something wrong!!

Any ideas? Any experiences?

There are a few different grades of ferodo's , but the only one's i've used were screechy rubbish that could not handle heat at all. now i'd choose bendix anyday over freddos.

i used ferodo excel on my old vt with slotted dba's

noisy and dusty ! would not recommend

Yeah they are dusty. Well these were sold to me saying that they were not noisy at all. So I will get them to replace it.

I think my car has them on it, it was like that when I bought it. Awful pads, screeching is just ridiculous.

Check out the QFM HPX pads. Heard nothing but good things - and low dust. Good price too.
