Are rear callipers the same VS-VX?

vs v6 ute
I've got a vs ute which needs rear brake pads and i've also got some standard vx brakes with good pads, are they the same? I'm going to go and have a look but i thought someone here might know before i pull things apart.

My guess is no, I expect the later models should have bigger brakes.
If you need to buy new pads, I'm very happy with my Bendix Ultra Premiums from SuperCheap. no squeling !! they say QFM are good too

VT/VZ brakes (calipers and discs) don't fit VN/VS's.
The pads might interchange as they have similar shape but have different part#'s and different thickness's.

The VT caliper is bigger and much wider but I'm sure that the VT pads will fit into VS calipers. I have attached a picture showing the VT pad on top and the VS pad below. They both do have the exact same dimensions were they slide into the caliper but as you can see the VT actual pad area is slightly bigger.​
