Auto Shift points

Is there any way to alter the shift points in vy auto ute without a Tec 2 I wanna have a play coz my ute loves first gear way too much and it needs a tweak.

What about the auto shift kit? I heard its just software anyway so if I could get in there could I program this myself?

What's the go with these obd2 and what's the best value. I mean more than checking error codes I mean altering stuff

And what are they worth

The tech 2, or any scantool for that matter cannot change the auto shift points. They may give you temporary control of the shifts so you can shift gears via the scantool, but it cant be changed permanently. You need to edit the tune in the PCM to adjust the shift points permanently.

Try MACE Engineering. They can do it with software on your laptop. It is basically part of their remote tuning service. I think they have a forum on here.

You need to get a tuner to alter it in the tune. Pending what software they use (HP tuner, EFI live flashscan or similar) but cost a bit..
