Auto shifter stick selection light.....

during the day it seems that there is a light to show what gear i am in .... but at night I cant see what gear I have selected, Reverse-Drive-Neutrel-Park..... can someone help me to check the light if its there... does anyone know if there really is a light there also??

theres a light there, should how when you put your parkers on. ike your instrument lights. during the day, its probably just the sun making it look on, id say its blown. should be a 5mm wedge from memory. just take the plastic surround off (i cant remember how on VX) and replace it. about $2 from autobarn, supercheap, repco, etc.

Getting to the light under the shifter is more than just the plastic surround. Haven't actually got to the light but there's a little more involved than that. Check what it is and have another car handy to go get the part, unless someone knows for sure. GL
