Average SV6 quarter mile time?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about buying a VF shortly. Just wondering what the SV6 sedans run down the quarter mile on average? Just stock, no mods. Is there much difference between auto and manual?

A stock SV6 running the quarter is like old people fcuking= slow and painful. They run mid-15s in the real world.

Hmm okay thanks mate. I'd read indications of mid 15's but I just wanted to confirm. Still heaps faster than my VN haha. Should be a very nice upgrade shortly

Just taken the plunge and about to buy an SV6 Lightning, coming from the VY2 i thought the steering felt heavier with the 20's on, but the drive was amazing.

Well I suppose a 14.6 is quick enough to compete with the Honda boys?

I've seen a few dip down towards the 14.00 mark, VF with a few mods can break the 200rwkw mark.

I'm curious to know how they go over the 1/8th mile.

Years ago I had a VT Exec that did 10.5's consistently. Then I owned a stock VY SV8 that did 9.5's and it feels like my 2014 SV6 might be a bit quicker than the SV8.

Took the SV8 over the quarter once with a 3/4 tank of fuel, a bit of luggage & a couple of fold up chairs in the boot and it got a low of 15.01. Couldn't quite break into 14 seconds, should have taken the luggage out
