VE SV6 Z Series
Hey guys,
Im currently looking into exhaust for my stock sv6 2012 Z series (series 2). Id like a louder sound and for it to have the quad tips, so ive been looking at some axle back systems, mainly the one at JHP they do their own axle backs, for $599 + 100 install, or i would consider a xForce Cat back system, Just wondering what is the best way to go ahead, and i have a budget of about $1200, looking for the best overall, that include, sound, performance(dont really care..) and looks! mostly the sound is whats important, i want a potent sound much louder than stock, but not any droning, but i guess my subwoofer will cover the droning! xD
Any recommendations and where is best to do it, or anyone heard much about JHP?
Please advise below : D

Thanks!

Just get a stock ss or hsv system.
Makes it a little deeper with next to no drone and you don't look stupid with a super loud droning v6 :)
Plus still get the quad tip look. Will cost maybe $300 max.
Then spend the other $900 on cosmetics of the car

if you are after the sound of a v8,unfortunately you will need a v8 I am afraid-lol
catbacks are under the middle of the car and they go into the axle back section
I suggest you do some research on here and see what other guys on here have done and what they say

Just bolt on a set of SS manual mufflers(true twin tip out of muffler) they are not to bad and cheap around $100. The afm single in to twin tip are quite.

Bit of noise no or limited drone and little cost, found they are still quiet when crusing.

So is it any good to go with a catback system on the sv6 VE series 2 (sidi engine) ? or is an axle back equally as good, guess what im asking is, how restricted is the stock mid pipe on an SV6?

V6's should be seen and not heard.
Hsv catback or rear mufflers at the most unless you want to drive a dieing cow.
