Hey guys first post to this group, used it for years for help but can’t find any posts with this problem

was installing a replacement head unit (after market) into my vp yesterday
Two rear after market speakers have aftermarket wiring going from the original wires, and the fronts are run off the original wires
For some reason only my back left speaker is putting out clear sound the rest are very very quite
Anyone else had this issue?

p.s. we ran a wires straight from the speaker to the head unit not going though the car so just sitting there just in case it had bends or somthing and still the same issue

Since the head-unit does the same when the speakers are wired up directly to the head-unit using jumper wires, it can’t be an issue caused but the internal wires within the car loom

But head units will all have left/right and front/back faders, so ensure the obvious, that they are set to their central settings  If they are centred and the sound isn’t even across all speakers, then the head-unit may be faulty internally. If that’s the case, take it back to where you bought it and either get it swapped for another working unit or get a full refund ;)

Also check the polarity of the speaker wires, sometimes that can cause low sound as well.
