Simply put evolution is every last bit a belief as christianity is only the scientific term is THEORY. Still only a theory cos it has never to this day proven to be fact any more than christianity. Fosill record, there was and there is, that's the problem there has never been an in-between that evolved. Not just humans. Anything. And for that there is absolutely no evidence. It's just a "must be" As for gravity goes, it WAS a theory and was proven.

As for the 'missing links' you're referring to.. This is actually REQUIRED in order for evolution to be true. The whole principle of evolution is built on the idea of slow, gradual changes to organisms. There never was a huge jump from 'critter A' (now extinct), to critter B (also extinct), to human (soon to be extinct). The reason you don't see one obvious creature between one being and a human, or any other pair of animals, is because it's gradual. You won't be able to distinguish homo habilis from homo sapien if you were to check every single generation in between, they would change so gradually that you would have to call each generation, no matter how similar to the previous one, a new species.

BCE and CE have been used by historians for a long, long time. Its not a new thing and it is simply bringing the education system in line with the rest of the academic world. It really is about time given that textbooks and resources have been using the terms and the curriculum hasn't included them.
