Best engine oil for LPG car

Hi guys,

Looking for some feedback on what will be the best oil to use in my LPG VT.

180000km

Someone suggested Mobil 1?

I'm currently using Magnatec.

i use Penrite HPR10 in mine.....

this question is almost like asking which fuel is best, your gonna get a diffrent array of reponses....

I have been using holden lpg oil. If you can get it at trade price you will pay $20. Oil filter also from holden trade price is $4.

A good quality LPG oil is your friend. Don't go too thin with the weight though, I think 10 is about the limit for a VT, could even be 15, check the owners manual.

yeh i recommend penrite hpr10 gas to most people at work....yeh penrite's gud oil!

So Penrite HPR GAS 10 looks the way to go.

Does anyone know what the main differences are between standard petrol oil & gas oil?

Or does anyone else have any suggestions?

think the gas oil has some extra protection properties over standard oil just to help against the high temps generated from the lpg...:thumbsup:

WHUT? gas runs cooler than petrol, that what the condenser is for. Warming up the gas and making it all cooler
