I’m due to replace my rotors and pads soon on my VF calais.

I currently have DBA T3 rotors and QFM HPX rotors. They have done well for the last 50,000kms.

are there any pads that provide more initial “bite”?

not fussed about brake dust as I have solid billet alloys.

cheers

DBA Extreme Performance (orange) apparently have really good cold and hot performance. Check them out.

Yeah someone of the VF Facebook page suggested DBA too, but said green. Will read up on them

Orange is overall better pad especially if you are after good cold bite

That's interesting ... Green was their best product for cold performance last time I bought aftermarket pads (the Commodores haven't ever been anything but babied so I've just let the guy servicing it replace with OEM-spec stuff), but that was probbaly 15 years ago.

But - I think (?maybe?) they only had Green, Yellow & Red back then.
The person who recommended the Greens, as referred-to a few poasts above, is maybe living in the past too - are Orange a newer product than the Red/Yellow/Green originals?

This suggest initial bite is the best on EP orange pads
