Hi guys,

I removed the bi modal fuse in my ssvr this morning. Tried starting the car and it just cranked without starting. Stopped and tried restarting three or four times , no start. I put the the fuse back and tried again , started up and idled fine. Mind this car is in storage , has a trickle charger on it, never had a starting issue before. Just a coincidence or is this fuse wired in he starting circuit ? Thanks.

many people have reported removing the fuse for the bimodals without issue, maybe just a coincidence.

Sure it wasn't the fpcm or other critical fuse??? Maybe double check and try again. Done it on mine plenty of times also with no I'll effects.

Are you sure you removed bimodal fuse relay and not something else?

People generally remove the relay and this does not result in any issues.
That's probably better way to do it

Thanks Ron, I’ll go and start it tomorrow again and see what happens and pull the relay instead

Yes, what Ron said! Jumped my memory, that's how I did mine to.
