UPDATE:
Hey guys so the plastidip is terrible stay away from it it lasted 3 days .

I came out in the morning to hop in my car and there was a huge bird dropping on the passengers side door . So I washed it off it looked all good but kind of stained. The next day I come out and it had eaten all of the plasti dip away .

I recommend either full vinyl wrap or a full respray
Plasti dip was too good too be true
And I'm $1200 down.

Here are some shots since removing the plasti dip . I have now installed ssv headlights and ssv tailights .

Getting my cam installed by oztrack in Penrith very very soon cannot wait

Yep it's useless and it has a real grippy feel to it aswell . Haha it was a pretty huge birdshit I must say . But it also happened from when I was filling up my car a little drop went onto the plasti dip and basically ate at it straight away which I had to touch up .
Plasti dip might be ok for some badges and small things but not a full car .

i wouldn't blame the plastidip, it's not a **** product, you just had bad luck
if you left it on for about a week or 2, then got birdshit on it, and washed it off thoroughly (not wash it off and see a stain but leave it), it would have been fine

quick question, when it ate through the dip, why didn't you just peel that panel and repaint it?
car looks better gloss though, just saying

Looked great, pity it did not work out. Saw a couple of BMW's done in Matte Black last year in Germany and they looked good.

That might be true but the fact was that I got birdshit on it within 3 days , to answer your question because of how much it cost here I had already spent $1100 on the car and if every time a bird **** on my I would of had to of keep redoing it, I'm going ahead with the vinyl wrap,
I still have the front holden badge plasti dipped Matte black and it is fine.
