G'day,
To reco it "properly" you will need to buy a new drive,bushes,brushes,and a solenoid cap kit (if it is replacable) ok this will set ya back around $100-00,bare in mind this is genuine BOSCH i'm quoting,dont get after market stuff.
But if ya go up to Bursons/Repco ya should be able to walk outta there with a brand new Bosch reduction drive starter under ya arm for around $150-00,and it has a 2 year warranty from memory 12 months at least,when people come to me with a starter problem i dont even bother taking the end housing off!,its left over right into the rubbish bin,just my opinion

Go to the wreckers and try and find the new reduction type, they are a lot smaller.
