Boiling coolant

So my coolant sits at 105 degrees,
And once iv driven it and come to a stop it's boiled the coolant,
As the overflow filler is wobbling and has steam coming out of it,
Not excessive amounts, but steam none the less.
Any ideas?

I'd start with buying a new genuine radiator cap

....then if the problem persists, off to a reputable Radiator Specialist for a full cooling system pressure test.

A genuine one isnt any better than an aftermarket as long as you get a reputable brand one.

Tridon for example. Wouldnt touch any CPC ones or the SCA branded ones.

CPC is 'genuine' OE on many Commodores, it is on mine, not sure on the VE. Never had an issue, bought two since 06.

Explains why we sell so many replacement ones then.

Of course your mileage may vary, but as someone who sells this **** day in day out Ive had more issues with CPC ones than Tridon in my experience.

So because Ive never sold one to you my post is invalid?

In any case, theres nothing wrong with aftermarket. Check which one is cheaper and what looks to be quality.
