For those of you who have sle's!!

What are you using to fix the bonnet moulds to the bonnet with??

Ive got all my new bonnet moulds and realise there isn't any fixings
Ive got the indicator surrounds, headlight eyebrows and the bonnet mould sitting ready to go!!

Any suggestions for what you have used, where can I get em.

My bonnets an original sle bonnet so there are holes in the bonnet im sure....have just been filled with filler when painted.

Does the bonnet mould just slip on like the boot mould?

The indicator surrounds are riveted on I think. The bonnet mould uses the same little black clips that the boot mould uses.

You owe MagnetVH a beer ;) The outer bonnet moulds can break off around rivet. If so, just redrill mould closeby and install a new rivet.

I have a heap of moulds as spares/left overs and half have tabs broken, some suffer from the pitting due to corrosion.

Managed to source some of the clips from rare spares.
My eyebrow moulds are 2nd hand...no pitting some tabs are broken off, im contemplating whether to drill new holes or maybe silicone them on...thoughts?

Ok, do you fit the clips to the bonnet first and then slide the mould on or fit clips to moulding first then to the bonnet?
