This thread will in honour of the might BUICK V6 first i plan to try an make it go as quick as possible down the 1/4 mile with out rebuilding engine internals. All motors that with be used in this trail will be donated or from a local wreckers. So far it has run a best of 14.21seconds at 161.1km/hr at willobank race way.Non intercooled

With a standard motor i hope to run a 13.5 before a engine build. All mods will be performed at home in the garage. accept for auto build.

MODS
Powerdyne super chager kit from CAPA 9 psi at 5800rpm
Fully built 4L60E no stall.
3.7 diff gears with spool
Exhaust- Pacemaker comp headers
into mandrel bent 2.25 pipes into
single 3inch high flow cat
into mandrel bent 3inch system

Intake- From blower 2.5 alloy cooler pipes into
3inch FMIC into 2.75 pipes into

Custom reverse intake manifold.
I purchased this manifold off E-bay seller "fejuly"
it consist of a standard S2 intake maifold with the top chopped off, then the top of an ecotec plenem that as been trimmed and squared up and fully welded inside.
It uses a Standard ecotec T/B and a Standard VS throttle cable.
If you contact this seller he would probably make you one to order.

yeah thread should be in the my ride section. How much boost are you running to get the 14.2?
Did you do the ecotec conversion?

yeah sorry didn't look that hard, seen the eco upper manifold and thought it was a ecotec. Made a intake the same for a mate a few years ago, but with the t/b still on the passanger side and didn't like the results.
9psi auto and only 14.2. Glad i went turbo.. lol

There is already alot of treads about bolt on buicks and there are othere ways to go about it, other than the way you have gone. Ones that will yeild better results by the looks of it.
