I have a vx clubsport just wondering if I can put the vx garnish of the Calais onto a vt boot as I can't find a vx boot lid

yes, but you'll need to remove the keyhole lock/barrel off the VT bootlid for it to fit properly....the boot lid is physically the same item and can be interchanged between VT and VX
