If theres any access, possibly through the bulb holes try a vacuum.

Hmm, I could try that. I don't know how effective it would be. I reckon the only way I'm going to get it cleaned is by actually wiping it off the plastic. I was just seeing if there was any way someone had found that was fairly straight forward. The only option I probably have is just to pull the rubber off the plastic that is glued on to it. Should fit back together fine, with a bit more glue to seal it back up. Stupid dust, spoiling my car
