who ever did your breaks! dont let them do it again! even if it was yourself.

i have never heard of a caliper just falling off because they dont. someone did not do the bolts up.
you dont need loctite on the bolts but you can use it if you like.
been doing breaks for 15 years myself, never have i had a caliper or bolt just fall off.
im thinking these bolts were just not tightened.

as for bleeding breaks if you have an ABS module you should vacuum bleed them.
i actually get a shop to bleed mine now as i dont have a vac pump for bleeeding breaks.

well done for picking up on a spelling issue and making a post about it, you knew what i meant so does it really matter?
how about putting some input into the post at hand instead of scrolling through forums to become a live spellchecker that no one gives a **** about next time?

im sure i have made a mistake again. but plz dont waste space by making another post about it. just move on or try and help the OP out which is the point of the forums.

Seems to be prevalent here.

That's what makes this forum and country great.

Think were getting a bit off topic on these spelling mistakes.

How much would it cost to take it to a professional roughly? and they would replace the bolts too?

You'd get both rears rebuilt at a minimum, if not all fours. An hours labour per caliper would about do it from turning the engine off to turning it back on, plus the caliper kit(s)

For one yes, add $150 per extra caliper. That's cheap, you could have crashed the car or even worse.
