Ok, so if the title didnt make you go WTF? ill explain it further..

When i turn my headlights on, the brake lights come on.. as per normal..
BUT when you press the brake pedal there's no sign youve pressed the brakes so they stay as per normal.. And nobody behind you will have a clue that you have pressed the brake..

This kinda freeked me out since i do alot of night city driving and the last thing i need is a 4WD up my bum :(

oh an easy one.

Theres a switch on the brake pedal that activates the lights.

Wreckers should have one to fix it up

As stated above the switch or fuse is the most likely culprit. I have changed one in a falcon a few times and the cost was about $30 new.

The switch should only be a 10 min job

Thought id update this post just incase anybody has the same problem..

oh an easy one.
Theres a switch on the brake pedal that activates the lights.
Seems like this switch wasnt working to well, i havent really done a proper job of fixing it just re-moved and re-installed the switch.. ATM you cant see if im braking till i press down further..

Freinds said it looks like im down-shifting like a mother cause i can stop without using brakes till i get to the stationary hahaha.
