ive read cross drilled are a waste of time and have more chance of cracking.

A quick Alloytec
brake dust forms in the holes, and unless cleaned out regulary, cause cracking between the holes, doesnt matter on brand. the brake dust as it becomes compressed in the holes, expands with heat and fractures the disk, i love the look of crossed drilled but prob wont get them cos of this

Unless you are doing track work or races slotted discs are fine.

If you are after better brake 'feel' then better pads and lines would be an improvement.

Because it's the last thing that is done, by people.
It's nearly always over looked.
We increase the power of our car's.
But forget the part that matters, Stopping.

Remember safety matters.

Thats what I think anyway.:whistling

Ok fair enough, but I though brakes on these cars are a vast improvement over the VR/VS ones, I mean buy looking at it they are fairly big!

 hey groovers my vy v6 lumina has had a set of dba approved cross drilled and slotted rotors and new pads on for about 2 months in preperation for a powerdyne blower install next week and they pull the car up real good as i did the blower on my last vs v6 first and found stock brakes could not cope.
