Have VL 6 cylinder and in process of installing set of extractors. Three (3) of the manifold studs have either broke off or already were broken when removing old manifold. These studs are all at rear of head. Anyone have any ideas as to how these studs can be removed failing to remove head.

There are blokes that come out and extract broken studs as a job. I believe it is relatively inexpensive as well, well much more economical than removing the head.

Just wait till the head cracks, then get the studs replaced....
