Buick 3.8 n gearbox into a vy

What problems do I face putting a buick 3.8 into a vy will the ecu work with the buick in it will my gearbox fit in it if not what do I need to do

If you're planning to drive this on the road, it can't be done due to the Ecotec being newer than the Buick, and having stricter emissions standards...

Australia wide. You can't even put a VS Ecotec in a VY as it doesn't have EGR. I am pretty sure temperature sensor is different.
