Buick v6 performance mods

Hey guys am new to this forum & have just purchased a vr 5 speed & am chasing abit more grunt, was wondering what engine mods can be done? It already has extractors, 2.5 inch exhaust, CAI with K&N & I have removed the bellmouth. Am already putting 3.45 diff gears in it then welding it up. Am I missing any mods before you start working the motor internally?? Cheers.

Don't weld your diff, that's a silly thing to do.

Do not look at anything other the turbocharging. You'll get a bigger gains from 98 fuel then any N/A work. No ifs or buts, turbocharging is your smartest option.

It does get a bit monotonous tho, and I'm sure when you go to post a new topic on this forum it gives you a summary of similar topics to check before you post... to me it is like visiting a library, asking the librarian to show you where the books are then having someone get the book off the shelf and bringing it to you.

If you want to see decent gains from a Buick be prepared to outlay big money, don't bother with bolt ons unless you bolting a big snail on the side of it. How much power do you want to see? What are you going to need to achieve this? Will it be reliable, is it worth it? Ask yourself these questions before you do anything. Use search next time

Cheers guys searched for a thread but couldn't find one. Was considering stage 3 crow cam & memcal & a set of high ratio roller rockers. Would be happy with 150 kw at the rears. Opinions? If gains Arnt worth it will just leave it.
