I've seen an actual kit made with a blanking plate for the old snorkel and everything, so as for illegality im sure its not an issue. Insurance however may dislike you cutting bits of metal out of the beast!!

Go my way. POD filter, Nylon flower pot, and some 3 1/2 inch aluminium dryer ducting hose :D:D:D

I just used a piece of tin and sealed it with gasket goo. works good.

I'd have to buy a new bottom half airbox for my car if I was to do CAI..

Its been hacksawed to death.

Haha I know what you mean, that was the first "mod" i performed when I got my car - attack the airbox with a hacksaw.

In the end it was held on by just one bolt :p
