Can caliper pin bolts be bought separated from holden ?
I know they often come included with genuine pads, but can they be purchased separately and does anyone know the part number ?

I am throwing away my useless rear brake pads and replacing them with Bendix ultimate so wanna do it right and put new bolts in with this...

The fronts are great but looking at the rear rotors, the pads hardly bite at all...

I have spare set of rear bendix ultimates...so why not... ;)

Cheers...

Well a lot of people reuse them. Not saying that's right or wrong but yes if you reuse them put some compound on them to stop them coming loose.

I you are referring to caliber bolts, you can buy them at any bolt/screw specialist shop, but make sure you get the right tensile grade (10.9), length and pitch.

I just bought some locally, in a bolt shop and they were remarkably cheaper than Holden. Use loctite on them, medium strength blue.

If you are referring to the pins that locate the pads, they come in a kit, about $27 from eBay or a little more from Holden.

better go buy LOTS of wheel cleaner and a set of rotors
you are gunna need 'em

Ultimates are renowned for being a very dirty pad
which chews up rotors

Also, if you are referring to the pad locating pins (that are removed to replace pads), they are an interference fit, not threaded. Use a pin punch to remove and install, the top ones can be a little tricky when reinstalling because the sway bar is pretty close ( my pin punch was too long so improvised)

I know...
At least they will match the fronts which are aggressive and dusty ;)
Dont mind throwing away stock rotors after the pads are worn out
