- holden cv8 monaro
gday lads, just about to get get some work done on my monaro and was curious to see if anyone else has had anything simular done to there car and what they thought of the results?
the cars a 03 cv8 6 speed.
-genie headers(already fitted) 100 cell cats and 2.5'' cat back without rear mufflers
the car was tuned at 230rwkw after exhaust
-then i fitted 4.11 gears in the rear with a true track hemisphere
-i'm about to get the following
-cnc ported and decked heads
-manly valve springs
-single row sprocket/timing chain.
-cold air intake but not otr. apparently regualar cold air is better according to the mob that are about to do the work.
-new valves/guides/stem seals/collets
-232/234 howards cam
-cushion button clutch/new flywheel
-plus rear main, o2sensors, adjust speedo and tuned.
costing around 6k and hoping for 300 but it gets what it gets i suppose.
