can the computer or sences be tricked

wondering if any tricks to give more fuel and timming through resistors or simple mods on ecotech v6

Simply put no you cant... the reason behind this is the fact that the ecu will compensate for it so if you put a resistor on the o2 sensor in order to get more fuel your computer will think its running lean when its actually running rich wich will cause the engine to flood. The same applies for timing put a resitor on the CAS and your car most likley wont even start. Even if it did then your plugs would fire way out of time. As far as your standard timing and a/f ratio's go the stock computer does a pretty good job.

There are however devices that can allow you to manually control spark advance and fuel mistures such as these

for that to work properly you will need a wide band o2 sensor and a digital display like this to use it effectivly

a much easier option is to start writing you own eprom's if you can understand how an engine works.

this, a soldering iron and some knowledge will get you started creating your own memcals.

the device that i said can be used for timing advance can also be used to control another injector (in case you missed it)
