I have an aftermarket shifter on my VE. I presume it'd be simple enough to put an aftermarket knob on top. No comment about the knob that operates the knob.

Pop shifter surround cover off, Undo the 4 screws that hold down the shifter boot, pop off the shifter from the shaft and then do the reverse for the new one.

So I've noticed there are 3 screws (installed using an allen key) with the knob... Is it still possible to replace?
