hey ppls,

with the following information below can anyone shed some light on why I cant seem to get into the 11s?

I have been to the street meets recently and consistently runs 12.2s on all passes

12.2 @ 114mph 60' 1.905
12.2 @ 111mph 60' 1.822
12.2 @ 113mph 60' 1.863
12.2 @ 112mph 60' 1.830

now from that and with 440rwhp/3500 stall converter/3.9 gears, et streets ranging 16-18psi I worked on a et calculator with the weight of a vz ss 6l , 3646lb
with 440rwhp gives me rough et of 11.79 but all I can manage is 12.2 is there something that's not right or could my converter be stuffed.

depend on whos tuned it and if they removed all the torque management crap.vt ls1 pulls huge amounts of timing on the gearshifts and go 0-100km faster with it all removed so they shift with full power but it puts more strain on the box.i normally only mod the power mode for full torque shifts so day to day driving is not so harsh on your gear when in economy mode.

If you believe wiki then the curb weight is 1569kg-1654kg or 3459lb-3646lb. AFAIK curb weight is measured with a stock vehicle, ALL fluids and standard equipment.
