I have a Holden Caprice wm 2 LS2 v8

Just completed a major service 150,000 including oil change, transmission service, new spark plugs, rocker cover gasket, new diff fluid.

The car was running great for two days afterward. Then it started to miss when waiting at traffic lights.

Took it back to the mechanic and he put in a new ignition lead set and checked for faults. Nothing found.

Took it to a second mechanic and he reset the throttle idle.

Still, the car is missing. sort of miss-firing. Nothing came up on diagnostics. Any other ideas?

Sounds bit like a vac leak, but only assuming since you had other work done on it, and vac lines/pipes loose or brittle.

other than that, its sounds like it only started after the new spark plugs installed,
Either one of the plugs is breaking down,
or one of the leads was damaged when pulled off.

Best to do a live data test.

Where did the new spark plugs come from? If somewhere like eBay, they could be knock off's and have failed already.

What tool are you using ?

These has to be some fault record in the history.
Not active, but historical record.

Was thinking about it again,
As mentioned, probably best to run a live test and see what is faulting.
