No changing your mind at the car auctions at all. ONLY if its a miss bid (no intention to bid) while the lot is up for grabs.

At the fall of the hammer the lot is yours if you are the last to bid.

Dont bid at car auctions if you are wishy washy on what you want. There is no time at all to hesitate.

Know your price, confirm the correct lot no and go for it.

Car auctions are also great for interior's of written off vehicles. If you're looking for parts only from a better model, or just replacement parts at all then these whole car auctions are a good idea. Who knows, you could even make a killing on the ebay sale of some of the other parts you can strip... ;)

Going back this Friday to look at the next lot of Commodores.
Mid km (60-80k)VZ is the prefered car to bid on and should come in around the $15,000 mark. Maybe a little more.

Or a V8 VY exec with around 100k on the clock.

The deposit is a reserve against a credit card. Not an actual spend. So your limit is reduced by $500.00 but does not become a transaction proper until you win a bid on a car.
