Nothing Sounds Like A V8

Hoping to god someone out there is able to help me.
My car horn only works intermittently. The horn itself works if I connect it directly to the battery. If it is the actuator under the horn pad, how do I access it to clean it?
Secondly the security system does not work. The anti theft horn under the bonnet works if I connect it to the battery but on its own, the poor old thing is now susceptible to theft.
Advice would be greatly appreciated as I have no idea how to fix the above issues.
