Ok so it's late on a friday and i've had a few beers and feel like sharing this job with you fellow JCers. sorry in advance for the ammount of pics but it was a big job, probably the most challenging i'vr done yet. Hence why i wanted to share
Ok keep in mind my bloody boss never organises to get a truck down for me to take mesurements off, so this was all done from just looking at pictures haha. thanks again boss.
^^OK so this second hand truck came in. It was white but we painted it blue
I had to mask out a border. you can see allot of lines on the inside because i was doing it from a photo. so i had figure out allot of the inside lines before i could figure out the outside lines (there were more on the other side even). like take reference points from the photo and all that. which of course would have been allot easier and less time consuming if i just had some measurements LOL.
Ok so here's the first bit, the silver. just sprayed it on and made sure i went out further than i had to. just to be safe.
Ok so let the silver basecoat dry for long enough that i can put tape on it and mask it off.
Now there was a second colour i did which was cyan blue. but unfortunately i forgot to take a pic of it (you'll see it bellow) oh well on to the third colour.
Ok so here's the third colour. it was a nissan white. multi layer white pearl.
Right, so once the third colour was on the silver and blue (which you can now see) get unmasked and ready for some clearcoat.
Anyway i won't bore you with anymore details. here's a shot of the finished product. i don't do the pin lines or stickers by the way. that's bob the sighnwriters job. he's bloody good at what he does too!
thanks for looking
