Car has done 68,650klms SV6 2008. I change the oil every 5,000klms Castrol Edge 5W/30. The oil change before this last one had 32MLS of oil from catch can but i was doing long highway driving for that period. The last oil change for the 50MLS was a lot of stop start driving only.

Maybe try a different synthetic oil and see if you catch less oil.

I have to finish putting the baffles in mine so i can install it

Do you have baffles in the catch can if so what type please?

I put a divider down the centre to seperate the inlet and outlet ports. Drilled out the inlet and inserted copper tube and some stainless steel pot scrubber . Have a look at thid site .http://forum.grrrr8.net/showthread.php?t=38308
