Main thing about bashing out a cat converter is that it sounds CRAP afterward. If you want to amplify the shitty v6 sound and make it "tinny" then go ahead.

i havent done anything to the engine the stock cats are restrictive. high flow cats r still restrictive

How did you come by this little piece of info?

Restrictive how? You just looked inside it and said "yep...restrictive"?

A stock cat has more than enough flow for a stock engine. A hi flow cat will outflow most modified and FI set ups.

Can someone also please explain to me how changing HT leads(considering there is nothing wrong with the stock ones) will improve power?

Unless you have very high voltage output coils, the stock ones will work fine.
