Hey guys, I've got a few questions about changing the dash pad in my VX.
Basically i want to swap out my crappy Grey dash to the VX series 2 black dash pad.

What i need to know is, I have a passenger air bag, will i have any problems swapping the dash with the new dash pad while the air bag is there? will i need to disconnect it and take it out or can i swap the dash without it being touched? If i do need to take it out, what is the safest way to do so?

Also, is there any common problems that i should be looking for while everything is out? I figure if I'm going to be doing this anyway, i may as well take the opportunity and check for any problems to do with behind the dash, while its out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Jarrod

Yes check your heater core for leakage.Very common problem and requires dash removal to fix.
