Changing Leads And Plug In Vs Ss 5.0l

Hows it goin,

just brought a set of NGK Iridium spark plugs and Champion 8mm Leads. Can anyone give me a simple guide on how to change and replace both the spark plugs and the leads.

switch off ignition. unplug leads, noting which one leads to where, also note different lengths. unscrew spark plugs with correct socket, take the opportunity to check the condition of the electrodes, which gives good indication of how each cylinder is operating. they should all look nice and evenly tanned. screw new plugs in, tighten with gentle pressure but not too much. replace leads.

don't tighten them too hard! otherwise you'll strip the inner thread and that can cause some very nasty problems.. its a pretty easy job, don't think you'll have any problems
