Pretty sure its a 10mm bolt or maybe an 8mm? Just with a Spanner or rachet will do the trick, just unbolt it and unplug it.

Is it stalling when getting hot? As soon as you kick it over cold? Just randomly while driving along?

Crank Angle Sensor located behind the harmonic balancer. Common fault.

Yep have to agree with Wraith... Even more commonly they don't generally throw a code when they screw up.

Ive got one for ya..I was driving around the other day in the GF's Vs commodore..
Bout a half hour later the car started to act differently, then out of no where lost ALL power, no power steering, no brake booster...NOTHING....so i coasted to a stop, turned the car off, waited 5mins...and it wouldnt sart up...everything turned on including the radio, petrol pump and what not, but it didnt turn over...

I call the missus and she had her friend bring my jumper cables...
And with a jump start she started right up..

not even 20mins later i stopped and turned the car off at the bank, got back in it and went to start her up...NOTHING!!

Then a bloke in a kick ass V8 Holden Monaro asked if i needed a jump...

And sure enough she started right up...

Is this the Crank Angle Sensor??
As i am about to replace the Harmonic Balancer as well....its just a big time bomb really!!
