Alight brains trusts, can anyone help with where I could get my hands on this. Section that joins the chassis to outside body (as per pic)

From a VS series 3 ute, not sure if they are the same as a sedan or not

Gonna need to come of a donor. Highly unlikely it could be bought new. Very little can be bought for a VS now. If it is welded wreckers might not want to cut it off, may end up being a private sale.

Where exactly is it located? A wagon may have the same part, if a sedan doesn't as they are quite similar underneath to a ute.

Incorrect jacking, or accident ?
Large wrecking yards don't seem to want to keep any bodies earlier than VE now.
A metal fabricator may be able to make one if you can supply dimensions. Big ask ??

Check Gumtree and you might find someone local wrecking a whole car. I have a VS wagon here that I would cut out that section but you are to far away to pick it up.

That component is exactly the same on all variants of the VR~VS.

You'll probably find it will be just as expensive to remove and replace it. I'm sure a good beater will be able to pull that one out with the system that welds small lugs on to the area and then you attach a slide hammer and pull it back out.

Failing that U-Pull_it here in Adelaide allows you to cut sections out and that piece would cost no more than $5.

Must admit it's a bit of an awkward area to cut, but if you used a 9 inch angle grinder it would be quite easy but leave a massive hole behind.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I actually found one close to home in mackay they will even cut it out and post it, cannot recommend bakers creek wreckers enough.
Figjam my guess would be accident for sure, maybe tree stump or front wheel came off. The chassis itself is still straight
