Does anyone know if it detects indicator bulbs as well?

I think it does. Kinda pointless given they hyper flash when one is dead anyway.

most vehicles have one of 2 ways to show you that a indicator bulb is out.
newer vehicles will show a message on the instrument cluster.
older vehicles the indicator will flash twice as fast as normal on the side that the bulb is blown so the audible tick alerts the driver that something has changed.
some vehicles might combine the two.
