2003 vy s-pack
Hey guys. Bit of a newby to the street scene. Just brought a vy s pack that's supercharged.

It's an on going thing. After you give it a good hard rev the tacho has a fit. Jumps up and down and then the check engine light comes up and I loose that much power i have to pull over and turn it off then on the give it an engine check then comes good for about 500 meters and happens again. It surges, coughs and carries on. I put the foot down and it nearly dies.

The only mod on the car is a pod filter and an exhaust.

Can someone please help?

Yes crank angle sensor fault shows up in a scan. You have to see a mechanic and he can plug ur car it to scan for codes. The crank angle sensor is like just above the harmonic balancer.
