Hi Guys, looking for advice. Has anyone experienced check engine light coming on after 5 minutes of driving coming up as a o2 sensor problem? I have checked via live dashboard software that the o2 sensors (new ones) are functioning and wiring is good. Exhaust system has been checked for leaks and new cat back exhaust system installed (standard 2.5 inch twin). Is it possible that faulty cats would cause this problem? I thought not as the sensors are before the cats. Any ideas?

Maybe just a bad new sensor, where they a known brand some aftermarket ones hit and miss.
It also could be caused from fuel mixture lean or rich can send them off.

Just an update for any one that might experience the same problem. Replacing the cheap no name o2 sensors with bosch quality ones has done the trick. Check engine light gone. Thanks Trevor.

The ntk (made by ngk) are also very good and a little bit cheaper than Bosch as an alternative

Lot of people fall into that trap buying cheaper parts then think it can't be the issue because part is new...lots of junk & fake parts out being sold.

True that mate especially when it comes to cheap fake rip off parts that are being passed off as the original, that’s a minefield
