The biggest issue with thicker oils in LS are lifters.
Eg my Johnsons recommend nothing over 40 warm weight
Lifters are the closest tolerance part on the LS so that makes sense. Interesting that Johnson specify nothing over 40 weight.

I can’t see the tolerance difference being that great between a Johnson lifter and OEM so are people running higher weight oils doing their engines a disservice?

AIUI, “Johnson“ is American slang for penis; so your dick makes recommendations :p:p:p

(yes yes I saw the “s” after a second read… post the coffee clean up which I spat out everywhere from laughing while drinking… but it was still funny)
